Yes, nothing is ok: That sounds like a response to the fabulous Pollesch/Hinrichs play with which the Volksbühne made a guest appearance at the last festival. Geht es dir gut? was the name of the solo in which Fabian Hinrichs expressed his world-weariness for 90 minutes, eloquently and pointedly celebrating the suffering caused by the multiple crises and the forlornness of the urban subject. Well, things don't seem to have gotten any better. The stage Heinrichs is still drifting unsteadily through the universe of current discourse, this time as a whole flat share. Claudia, Stefan and Paul share their everyday lives, their thoughts and their performer. Fabian Hinrichs transforms himself into all three characters and develops a cabinet piece of acting, always in the field of tension between boulevard and melancholy. The change of costumes and sensitivities becomes increasingly ludicrous. The evening is a source of hilarity and yet cannot hide the fact that nothing is really ok. It is René Pollesch's last play; the director and artistic director of the Berliner Volksbühne died a few days after the premiere.
