Jack Pott - this is not the name of a shady online casino or a sleazy Top 40 cover band for grandma's seventieth birthday. No, these are four party grenades from the tranquil spa town of Bad Schwartau, who have been up to mischief in the punk rock scene as a punk band for more than 4 years now. Alex, Leo, Jaki and Justin regularly serve their audience danceable punk rock with influences from electronic pop music with German-language lyrics and a concentrated load of synthesizers. Lyrically, "Jack Pott" moves on a rollercoaster ride between heartache, provocative social criticism, slapstick and the absolute madness that is called life. A punk band that is not in the textbook.

Although the group has been making music together for ages, the real birth of Jack Pott was the discovery of the synthesizer that makes the band's sound so unmistakable to this day. A first taste of this sound metamorphosis can be heard directly on the first EP "Adoleszenzgeschichten", from which songs such as "Alle meine Freunde" or "Traurig Nr. 3" have already achieved great regional fame. Due to the outstanding response, the band released their very first vinyl "Antischwurbler" just a short time later, which also features a joint cover version of the NDW chart-topper "Besuchen Sie Europa" with Geier Sturzflug singer Friedel Geratsch. In the same breath, the production of their debut album "Bomben über Disneyland" (Bombs over Disneyland) began, which met with a predominantly positive response when it was released in 2022 and caused a stir far beyond the boundaries of the scene.

This was followed by an intensive concert year with more than 60 concerts throughout Germany. Among them, they accompanied the "Drei Meter Feldweg" tour and played nine concerts as the support act for "Montreal". From Flensburg to Augsburg, from Düsseldorf to Görlitz, from Acker XY to the country's major cities, the band delighted audiences from young to old with their dynamic playing style. With their second studio album "Hass im Ärmel", the band reaped the rewards of their hard work on a completely sold-out release tour in 2023 and a two-day "Santa Pott" Christmas show in Lübeck's Treibsand.
But because rock never sleeps, the Pott Express will once again have no brakes in 2024: in addition to a largely sold-out "Hass im Ärmel" tour with 14 stops throughout the country, the big extension will follow in the fall with 12 more rock shows, various festival appearances and a pompous "Santa Pott" finale in Lübeck's Gollan Werft on the occasion of the band's fifth birthday.
