Jan van Weyde - Weyder geht´s!

In the organizer's words:

Ladies and gentlemen! Here it is! The second child, the second program, the second big cap!

And what's it all about? Weyder it goes! Through the everyday madness of a working husband and dad of two little girls - one in the classic rage phase, the other in the "wobbly teeth puberty".
Every morning starts the same for him: get up at 6:30 a.m., brush his teeth, color unicorn pictures, dress up as a Disney princess ... but unfortunately only until the children are awake too.
Because then the older one has to go to school and the little one has to go on "Tinder dates", as she herself calls it ...
But admittedly - that's a real relief after his involuntary career as a homeschool teacher and human climbing frame in lockdown. And let's not forget his hairy first-born - his mongrel dog Holly - who, as she gets older, mutates more and more into a nasty granny who nags passers-by on the windowsill and, if she could, would report parking offenders.

In his likeable, authentic way, Jan explains how he manages to keep all these balls in the air while constantly juggling his job and family.
Or not...
Because sometimes there are just too many of them, because there are simply no breaks! He doesn't even have his own bed, as at least two children use it as a pillow substitute. And so he often finds himself looking for a place of peace and quiet, a little island of calm, where he can take a secret nap - his top secret "secret Ratz corner", so to speak...

At parents' evenings, next to all the "real adults", he often feels like the lout from the last bank himself, while his big one now seems smarter than him ("Dad, why isn't 1+1 actually 11?") and on tour he often finds himself in too-small single beds in David Lynch-like country hotels.
But anyone who thinks there's time for a breather in all this is mistaken!
After all, the most important questions in life are pressing and need to be answered:
What do newborn babies dream about? What do you call female meerkats? Can you smoke a tuba? And should he really "accept cookies" on his Weight Watchers app?

So Weyder is up and running! With the second solo program by and with Jan van Weyde.
