Jannik Trapp: LEBENSGEISTER

An erratic exploration between power and powerlessness.

The spirits of life that I called.

With numerous paintings and an installation, Jannik Trapp invites viewers to immerse themselves in his creative fields of tension. His painting is unconventional, provocative and not pleasing.

"Spirits of Life" is a play with the limitations of the physical, inner and outer experiences of powerlessness, and path-breaking vitality and defiance. The artist visually negotiates his experiences of chronic illness, in conversation with rebellion, joie de vivre and hope. "Spirits of Life" aims to be an image and colour example of the struggle; of the unresolved, which human existence recognizes as its very own.

The vernissage will take place on Monday, 02.12. at 7 pm in front of the gallery. You are cordially invited!

*On December 7th & 8th the exhibition is closed due to an internal event.

The Vital Spirits I Summoned.

With various paintings and an installation, Jannik Trapp invites the viewer into his own fields of creative tension. His style is rugged, diverse and non-compliant. "Lebensgeister" is a play with the limitations of the physical, experiences of inner and outer powerlessness, and groundbreaking vitality and resilience. Jannik Trapp visually explores his experiences with chronic illness, engaging in a dialog with defiance, joy of life, and hope. "Lebensgeister" aims to be a depiction and colorbook of wrestling. of the unresolved, that marks our existence human.
