The German-Indian piano individualist Jarry Singla and the Zurich duo ZUGLUFT of violinist Andrea Kirchhofer and bass clarinettist Bruno Strüby share an enthusiasm for sophisticated sound combinations and the exploration of traditional elements from folk music of various origins.

While the influence of Indian music is clearly evident in Jarry's current work, elements of klezmer, experimental rock and tango can be recognized in Zugluft's compositions.
Wandering for years in the vastness and on the edges of jazz and folk music, the three musicians rested simultaneously in a neighborhood restaurant during a studio residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris in the spring of 2023 and decided to create their very own sound universe in a collaboration.
