What if you went to a concert and ended up in a greenhouse instead? What if you removed your ticket and suddenly found yourself in a fragrant, subtropical atmosphere? What if you sat down in your seat and lay on soft grass?
Vines on the stage, the light like in the evening just before sunset, when Myosotis closes its petals.
For his new album KOSMEE, Philip Weyand has expanded his long-standing quartet into a quintet with the voice of London-based singer Aitzi Cofre Real. Carried melodies somewhere between European art music, Radiohead and Brazilian Saudade form the band's sound.
The result is a peculiar, emotional sound that always stays close to the heart despite its harmonic and rhythmic complexity.
The angel trumpets sigh softly in time. Come in!
