Jazz and world music for everyone!

Our "Jazz on a Summer's Day" picnic, four open-air concerts on four Saturdays at the music pavilion between the Schauspielhaus and Schloss Jägerhof.

Since 1978, the afternoons in the park have been an invitation to everyone to enjoy culture and diverse musical cultures together.
With Free admission and the request to simply bring your own drinks, a small picnic and blankets or chairs, music enthusiasts come together at the music pavilion.

Two bands play every Saturday, the program on 10.8.

The Tsaziken are a versatile band from Cologne whose unique style embodies the diversity of world music. By fusing traditional sounds from the Balkans to Georgia with modern influences, they have secured themselves a firm place in the music scene. Supported by top-class musicians such as Raimund Kroboth, the former bandleader of the Schäl Sick Brass Band, they offer an impressive overall musical experience that inspires dancing, celebrating and reflection.

Henk Kraaijeveld combines music, poetic texts and improvisation. The award-winning Dutch singer convinces with his warm voice and joy of playing; he emphasizes the narrative power of music that connects people. Critics see his new album 'Patches of Sky' as an important step towards jazz greats such as Mark Murphy and Kurt Elling. The music impresses with its musical freshness and original compositions.
