"Only rarely do you get to hear a piano solo that is realized with such a surplus of urgency and under high current." Freestyle
The Jazzkollektiv Halle has revitalized the jazz scene in Halle over the past two years. This is symbolized by a permanent concert program in various clubs, bookstores and living rooms, whereby the concert offerings are once again based on Halle's own jazz musician faction. This development was inspired by the double bassist and composer Albrecht Brandt, who moves musically between contemporary and classical jazz, experimental music and more eccentric forms of pop. Together with Vincenz Wieg (g) and Hannes Lingen (dr), RIEKO OKUDA presents a joint concert in Halle.
The Japanese pianist Rieko Okuda, born in 1990, has developed her artistic inspiration for the improvisational music she presents from her interplay with Bob Minzer, Jon Faddis and Markus Stockhausen.
