Johanna Amelie makes music that we want to listen to on a long car journey at sunset. With her baby in her arms, she sings about environmental destruction and hope. A feminist view of the world characterizes the attitude of the songs, which can be located in the indie, folk and pop genres. With Regina Spektor as her role model, Johanna Amelie wrote her first songs as a teenager, then studied music production and began releasing her music with British and German record labels. This was followed by over 300 performances all over the world (including Iceland, Ghana and New Zealand).
