One breath, one sound

It is by no means a given that outstanding soloists are also brilliant chamber musicians. How do you find a common musical breath? How do you bring your sound ideas together and shape them into a musical thought? For Julia Fischer and Jan Lisiecki, that was no question! When they stood on stage as a duo for the first time at the Rheingau Music Festival in 2022, it was clear that they had found a dream team. The same undisguised view of the works, the same joy of playing and enthusiasm for working together. Luckily for us, the two will also be stopping off in Hamburg on their next tour together, enriching the ProArte program with a finely tuned evening of chamber music featuring sonatas by Mozart, Beethoven and Schumann.
