Juse Ju tears a hole in the clouds. His 2023 sound model of grime, trap and drill doesn't waft and sing to itself, but draws a clear swath through rap, society and the protagonist himself. And, of course, through his audience when he conducts a mosh pit, as in almost every concert. After a 2-year break, Juse Ju releases his new album in the fall and also climbs back on the stages of the country from October. After his breakthrough coming-of-age album Shibuya Crossing (2018) and the chart success Millennium (2020 - #11), Juse Ju is now focusing on the crisis-ridden here and now. Juse's strength is to always come up with a punchline in the corner of his mouth behind every sad truth and to build the call for liberation into every aggressively frustrated battle verse. Liberation from performance pressure, traditional images of masculinity and brand fetish. And thus, even in times of crisis, Juse Ju's music is always about hope. Juse once said in an interview that he "only really feels free on stage." This energy can always be felt at his ecstatic, and at times comedy-like, live shows. Over the years, Juse Ju has thus secretly moulted into one of the best live MCs in the country, who needs neither a back-up and certainly no playbacks to bring his horsepower to the stage. On his 2023 tour he will be accompanied for the first time by a live drummer and his old companion Nikita Gorbunov on guitar.
