It's going to be unforgettable: K21 is kicking off with a major retrospective and a K21 rave under the dome, led by star DJ Wolfram, all with Free admission!
In the organizer's words:
Since the opening of K21 in 2002, the huge space under the dome has been one of the most beautiful places in Düsseldorf. The dismantling of "in orbit" offers new opportunities for a public space where events and other formats can take place. On March 22, the museum will therefore kick off with a special opening evening:
With Free admission, K21 invites you from 7 pm to the comprehensive retrospective "Mike Kelley. Ghost and Spirit". The exhibition launch of the outstanding American artist will be accompanied by the new K21 Rave party format under the dome. The internationally acclaimed star DJ Wolfram (DFA Records/Public Possession/Live from Earth) will kick things off - from 10 pm and also free of charge.
