The performance collective notsopretty cordially invites you to an open afternoon in which we will talk with you about inheritance, legacy and wealth.

We want to share experiences, feelings & stories about the topic, both in the macro-social sphere and in the individual microcosm of each person. We are preparing for the next project and want to get in touch with people and their stories.

What do these models of family and wealth distribution say about your behavior as an individual and your relationship to others? What could a concept of inheritance and redistribution of resources look like to promote equal opportunities and equality?

Share your stories, ask questions and let's develop ideas for a fairer inheritance system together. Whether personal experiences, utopias or critical questions - bring your perspectives and let's think new ways together, comfortably over coffee and cake.

About the project:

Hinterlassenschaft: A house full of stuff will explore the various dimensions of inheritance(s) in our society: what does it mean to inherit materially? What are the effects of social and cultural heritage? What genetic heritage do we carry within us? It examines the influence these dimensions have on us - as individuals, as a collective, as a society.

It is a play about memories of the past and expectations of the future, in which the personal and the political meet in a fleeting, performative testament.

At the heart of notsopretty's new project is the combination of personal narratives and intensive research on the subject of inheritance.
