Alternative rock from Brooklyn and Sydney on tour in a double pack!

Rock has not yet breathed its last: not as long as there are bands like Superbloom (USA) and Dear Seattle (AUS). The indie rock duo is now going on tour together to prove exactly that.

SUPERBLOOM

The latest rock phenomenon from Brooklyn consists of four guys who make exactly the songs they want to hear and goes by the band name Superbloom. That means heavy, overdriven guitars and crashing drums; heavy, powerful riffs full of passion and energy; and haunting, infectious vocal melodies that stick in your head for weeks to come.

For Dave Hoon (vocals/guitars), Tim Choate (guitars), Brian DiMeglio (bass) and Matteo Dix (drums), who came together in 2018, it's all about the music. This is much more than four friends jamming in a basement. After playing in bands all their lives while pursuing full-time careers, they founded Superbloom out of a calling they just couldn't ignore. So they put all their eggs in one basket and released 'Level Head' in 2020, which was followed by their debut album 'Pollen' in 2021 and acclaimed by influential media outlets such as Consequence Of Sound, Visions and Atwood Magazine. The singles "1994", "Falling Up" and "Daisy" are played on BBC Radio 1, Triple J and many others. In the meantime, the tracks from her debut have received over 1.7 million streams. While "Pollen" represents the era of self-discovery, Superbloom's new EP "Life ́s A Blur" (release date 08.06.2024) heralds a conscious further development with a new dynamic and musical depth, which manifests itself in stormy, heated, high-octane songs such as "Pig" and "Head First", as well as in the stripped-back, cinematic and pop-inspired highlight "Tiny Bodyguard". It goes without saying that the band have retained their knack for hooks, dreamy sounds and bouncy rhythms.

DEAR SEATTLE

The quartet from Sydney is the alternative punk rock band that invites you to headbang and sing along in equal measure with their melodic rock planks. With their previously released albums "Don't Let Go" (2019) and "Someday" (2022), the band has already earned an extremely good reputation in their home country, had the support of the important radio station Triple J and performed at all the country's major festivals. As their powerful and anthemic sound continues to make waves internationally, it's time for them to hit the stages of the rest of the world. Because one thing is certain: after this tour, their fan base in Europe will also grow significantly!
