KATZENCLUB means: Party & concert highlights for the black scene in Munich, Bavaria and Southern Germany!

Current & new trends and ideas meet the classics from 30 years of the black scene (e.g. Esterhofen, Pulverturm, ...) and other current & past cult locations with changing DJs, special guests, visual art installations & live acts. We see ourselves as an open, interactive concept - by and for scene people - in which creative forces work together and new ideas & visions are realized!

Belgian five-piece WHISPERING SONS offer a dark and unique blend of experimental and frenetic post-punk. The driving instruments combined with Fenne Kuppens' deep vocals create a constant sense of unease that has been inherent in their music from the very beginning. With their energetic and captivating performance, the band has established themselves as a must-see live act.
Over the last few years, WHISPERING SONS have slowly but surely pushed their own boundaries and outgrown themselves. While their debut album "Image" (2018) was theatrical and expansive, the following album "Several Others" (2021) focused more on their greatest strength: sheer, unpretentious intensity. Following the release of "SeveralOthers", the band began working on a new album over a two-year period. This third full-length might surprise longtime WHISPERING SONS fans. It is less gloomy than "SeveralOthers" and less pompous than "Image". However, the typical WHISPERING SONS identity is still present in every song, as the band never strays far from their raw energy and emotion. The new album may be more upbeat and playful, but the dark undertone is still there. In 2016 - after the very well received worldwide self-titled debut album - the band UNDER THE SKIN played many European concerts with such iconic bands as "The Soft Moon", "Drab Majesty", "Cold Cave", "Soviet Soviet", "Lebanon Hannover", just to name a few. The band has also performed at festivals such as Sacrosanct Festival (UK), Gotham Sounds Festival (DE), Klub Dod (SE), Wave Gotik Treffen Festival (DE) and many more.
On April 29, 2019, UNDER THE SKIN will return with their second studio album N E G A T I V E - undoubtedly their best and most enthusiastically received album to date! (Source: band info)

EMMON ( aka Emma Nylén) latest album"RECON" has received rave reviews and nominations for best album from the likes of GAFFA, HYMN and DN. In addition, the album was awarded "Synth Release of the Year" at the Manifest Gala 2023, won the coveted "Release of the Year" at the highly esteemed Synthsläggan Awards and the GAFFA Award for "Electro of the Year". Now Sweden's Electro Clash queen is gearing up to release a remix version of the acclaimed album titled "RECOMIXED", featuring remixes by ULTRA SUNN, Tobias Bernstrup, Harlem, ZackZackZack and more.
As a foretaste, EMMON has released a series of remix singles from the upcoming collection. First up was"Machines", the artist's homage to the electronic music scene, for which she teamed up with ULTRA SUNN and Tobias Bernstrup in two new, pumping versions. Next, the French duo "Potochkine" took on "Like A Drum" with their dark techno vibes. The last single before the album release was the Majestoluxe version of the popular duet 'Purebloods', originally sung by Emmon and Emanuel Åström from Agent Snider. EMMON says: "As an artist and DJ, remixes are very close to my heart. Hearing my own songs transformed by the creative process of other artists is like opening presents on Christmas Eve as a child.
