Stand-up comedy is booming and on everyone's lips! From Berlin to Bergisch Gladbach, comedy talents are coming out of nowhere and destroying stages, cracking punchlines, cynical gags and non-stop improv. And while the Open Mics are being practiced and perfected, we are looking for Germany's crassest comedians with their best sets and bring them to Hamburg's theater stages in the much-loved slam format - but without poems, haikus or poetry, but with bitter jokes and a fine sense of humor. Until recently, hardly any German comedians have managed to keep up with the great American legends of this art form, but for some time now the stream of new shooting stars has not stopped. Political, dirty, below the belt, subtle, surprising, offensive and wholesome: all this is stand-up comedy and all this can happen every evening at a stand-up slam. Good jokes, perfect punchlines. When the water bottle is placed on the bar stool, a quick glance at the notes, a mischievous smile and the first joke cracks - then you know it's stand-up. The show is hosted by Hinnerk Köhn, who I'm sure you know and if you don't: you'll love him. Or hate him. But both are worth it.
