AI systems are trained with our "digital footprints". Now more than ever, the question arises: How can AI be designed in line with the democratic values of our society? Should there be public AI?

Together with Dr. Mercedes Bunz, Professor of Digital Culture and Society at King's College London and co-founder of the Creative AI Lab, we explore: What does it mean to understand AI as collective intelligence - and how can politics, science and society work together to shape this technology responsibly.
