The Andersen fairytale classic is probably the most famous princess recognition test in the world. In this new, poetic visual landscape, the story of the sensitive princess is twice as much fun. Whether a princess is really a true princess is not written on her forehead. In 1837, Hans Christian Andersen provided the ultimate recipe for all marriage-minded princes with 'The Princess and the Pea'. He pokes fun at high society with a sharp pen. Maja Dusíková's illustrations transport us into Andersen's cheerful and whimsical fairytale world. Fairy tale readers young and old will enjoy lingering in the Slovakian illustrator's expressive world of images.
