Imagine three voices interweaving, sometimes lovingly, sometimes menacingly, accompanied by guitar, drums and feedback, while oscillating between electronic ambient and polyrhythmic noise pop. With Chamberlab, you experience how the acoustic sound of the violin becomes electronic modulations, gets lost in experiments and pop fragments and takes unexpected turns.

Three voices in exchange, sometimes lovingly whispering, sometimes menacingly roaring, soon screeching and arguing, only to reconcile again and tell a story. With guitar, drums and feedback, the trio moves between electronic ambient, algorithmic krautrock and polyrhythmic noise pop. The band's debut album will be released in spring 2024.

Chamberlab (live)
For Mark Matthes, the acoustic sound of the violin forms the starting point for electronic modulations. His arrangements grow into a complete chamber orchestra, escalating into noise and feedback, or disintegrating into atmospheric sounds and polyrythmic patterns. With a great deal of improvisation, he embarks on unexpected twists and turns that alternate between experiment and pop fragment.
