Kiwanis Benefizkonzert - Soul, Blues & Jazz für eine gute Sache

It's that time of year again: Christmas is coming - and the legendary jazz event of the year is just around the corner! The ultimate Kiwanis charity Christmas concert!

For more than 50 years, international jazz greats have been coming together in Lübeck's Kolosseum to show off their remarkable skills. Once again, the great double bassist Jürgen Atig has succeeded in bringing together national and international jazz greats in the spirit of the late Kiwanis honorary member Gottfried Böttger:

The brilliant pianist, organist and arranger Lutz Krajenski, the unmistakably charismatic bass-baritone Ken Norris, presenting vocal jazz. He is joined by the voice of Germany's most famous soul singer, Nathalie Dorra.

A new addition is the German "musician of creative jazz", alto, tenor and soprano saxophonist Gabriel Coburger. He has traveled the world with various quartets and quintets and has enjoyed great success with international ensembles.

Europe's best percussionist, Heinz Lichius, will provide the rhythm that supports everyone. And, of course, "The living legend of the blues" will be there again: Abi Wallenstein with his authentic blues voice and his unique guitar. After ten years, we look forward to a reunion with the all-rounder Christian von Richthofen (perc. and voc.).

But there will also be plenty of humor on this unique evening. The omnipresent guest reciter Bastian Sick will once again ensure this.

He brilliantly entertains the audience with humorous observations, peculiarities and aberrations of the German language.
