Klaus Heidenreich (*1984) studied jazz trombone at the Cologne University of Music and has been a member of the NDR BigBand in Hamburg since 2008.
With the band collective "Hornstrom" he released a CD entitled "Endlich Sinnfrei" in 2008. In 2009, he founded his own quartet, whose debut album "Travel Notes" was released in 2011 in the "Jazzthing - Next Generation" series. Two years later, the second CD, "Man on Wire", was released on "Unit Records". In 2015, the album "Perceptions" was released together with the NDR BigBand.
Klaus Heidenreich was a long-standing member of the "BundesjazzOrchester" (BujazzO) under the direction of Peter Herbolzheimer. In 2007 he was a finalist in the "Carl Fontana Jazztrombone Competition" in Las Vegas, USA.
