Klezmermusik mit crazy freilach

In the organizer's words:

The five musicians from Leverkusen have been carrying the passion of klezmer music for two decades now. With great enthusiasm, they dedicate themselves to contemporary klezmer music and Yiddish singing with the aim of keeping this fantastic musical Yerushe (Yiddish for heritage) of Eastern European Jews alive.

Hardly any other klezmer ensemble embarks on the search for new sounds and musical paths with so much fascination and passion. Virtuoso elements, improvisations, melodies from the Mediterranean region, relaxed beats and grooves give traditional klezmer music a charm all of its own.

The influence of other musical styles enables the band to incorporate unexpected encounters and impressions into the music. The musical maturity combined with fascinating arrangements and the virtuosity of the individual musicians takes klezmer music to a new level and transports the listener to a foreign world.
