Klimt 1918

Anyone who names themselves after the Viennese Art Nouveau painter Gustav Klimt and the year of his death has already expressed a lot with the band name, which is to be revealed in the music. Italy's most famous indie rock export combines the melancholy of The Cure and Tears For Fears, the playfulness of Dredg and the longing of classic U2 recordings with the euphoria of a post-rock crescendo in an inimitable way. Sounds unique? It is unique! With their albums, Klimt 1918 create unparalleled musical widescreen experiences that radiate unaffected emotion and authenticity at every minute, and have long since carved out their own niche in contemporary rock music.

Nine Worlds

With their debut mini-CD "Valg" (2004) and their first album "Vergessene Pfade" (2006), Neun Welten from Leipzig were among the most exciting newcomers on the international dark folk scene and have been among the main representatives of the genre since their album "Destrunken" (2009).

Neun Welten enchant their listeners with cinematic songs that musically combine indie folk, post-rock and soundtrack-like elements, thus shaping their unique dark folk style. Despite this development, Neun Welten have also been playing acoustic concerts for years in order to return to their roots. The setlist includes old classics, some of which are reinterpreted, as well as brand new songs that offer a foretaste of the upcoming album. Whether dark and driving or idyllic, powerful or mystical, Neun Welten effortlessly transport the audience into their own magical realm. Neun Welten consists of Meinolf Müller (guitar, vocals), David Zaubitzer (guitar, cello) and Aline Deinert (violin, viola, vocals), who also plays in bands such as Empyrium and The Vision Bleak. They have recently been joined by Michael Zerjeski (drums, vocals) and Giacomo Astorri (bass), who also plays in Haggard.
