Knappe Kassen und die Klimakrise - Was brauchen Kommunen?

Tight public budgets have been a constant topic in the media, at least since the discussion about the debt brake. At municipal level, too, the budget often determines how much can be done for climate protection and climate justice. In view of the many other (mandatory) tasks in municipal hands, there is often not much left over for this. How important is the fight against the climate crisis currently in municipal budgets? What would be necessary to adequately finance the fight against the climate crisis? Two presentations and a subsequent discussion will shed light on these questions with a focus on Munich and the role of the federal and state governments.
