A unique stage gala with film music & songs from the pen of Konstantin Wecker. This concert tour through Germany and Austria is a real affair of the heart for the Munich musician, songwriter, poet and film composer. For the first time, Wecker will be presenting a selection of his fantastic film scores from over 45 years on stage, as well as many of his greatest songs and musical melodies.

As on the celebrated Utopia tours, the Konstantin Wecker Band with Jo Barnikel, Fany Kammerlander, Norbert Nagel, Jürgen Spitschka and, as a guest, the young opera singer Elmira Karakhanova, who thrilled the audience with her voice in a duet with Konstantin Wecker at last summer's Tollwood, will provide the opulent sound for the concerts . This unforgettable experience also gave rise to the vision of making a selection of his legendary film music audible to many people on a major tour.

With his new stage program The Soundtrack of My Life, Wecker pays tribute to famous actors and directors of the last five decades. Because his compositions are part of German film history. Konstantin Wecker (76) has shaped cinema films, series and popular television films with his unmistakable melodies: In addition to Schtonk, one of the most successful German movie satires of all time, the cult series Kir Royal cinema classics such as Die Weiße Rose, Peppermint Frieden and television films such as Liesl Karlstadt and Karl Valentin and Appolonia.

The audience can look forward to a unique evening: with unforgotten film music and many Wecker songs, including Die weiße Rose, Erst seit du Abschied bist, Sage Nein, Tango Joe and many more. Konstantin Wecker also talks about his life, his songs and his stories:

About films, acting stars and directors* such as Margarethe von Trotta, Senta Berger, Mario Adorf and the already deceased directing legends Helmut Dietl and Michael Verhoeven, for whom he composed his film music and with whom he wrote film history together.
