KONZERT JOELMA MARQUES – BRASILIANISCHER ABEND

In her songs, Joelma Marques mixes the lightness of being with "saudade" (longing) and the odd philosophical thought - very much in the tradition of a bohemian, which she brings together in her eponymous song "Boêmio". In a musical foray, she takes us through the classic rhythms of Brazilian music, such as samba, bossa nova and forró. On two albums and two EPs to date, Joelma can be heard with captivating, moving songs from her own pen and her own life, as well as classics of Música Popular Brasileira. She is accompanied by Sílvio Fortes (guitar) and Valdir Mendes (percussion).
