Short biographies of the artists
Julia Kovtun is a talented Ukrainian artist who has her roots in the northern region of the country. She began her artistic career by studying acting in Kharkiv. At the age of 18, she began her career as an actress at the National Theater for Drama and Musical Comedy, where she also performed as a jazz singer with the National Police Orchestra. After the outbreak of war in Ukraine, she moved to Germany and continued her artistic career. She worked with the renowned Bremen Shakespeare Company and was actively involved in numerous international theater projects.

Julia brings her Ukrainian heritage into her work and combines it with a broad spectrum of artistic forms of expression, ranging from theater to jazz and pop music.

Julia Kovtun 's repertoire is an impressive mix of classic jazz standards and Ukrainian folk songs. She interprets well-known hits such as "Summertime" and "Lady is a Tramp", which show her skills in jazz, as well as modern songs such as "Remedy" and "The World Is Not Enough", which underlines her versatility in different genres. The inclusion of Ukrainian folk songs such as "Ой говорила чиста вода" and "Ніченька" adds a special touch to her performances and highlights her cultural heritage, which she preserves in her music.

Serhij Kovalov studied music in the Ukrainian region of Poltava, received a bachelor's degree in summer 2021 at the Peter Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music in the capital of Ukraine - Kyiv. During his studies, he took part in various music events. In 2019 Kovalov performed as a soloist of Lviv Organ Hall with Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra (conductor: Ivan Ostapovych) in Odessa Philharmonic and also in 2022 in Hamburg Kulturkiche in Altona (conductor: Michael Petermann) Liszt Concerto No. 1 in E flat major.

He is currently part of the piano class at the Hamburg Conservatory - under the direction of Mrs. Christiane Behns - and plays concerts in Hamburg, Schwerin and Lüneburg.
