The event combines live music by the two musicians, who play historical string instruments, with a spontaneous movement performance led by Ronald Blum, in which the audience can participate.

Albrecht Maurer and Andolin Körner play works by Albrecht Maurer and Marin Marais on the borderline between early music, new chamber music and improvised music. The experienced border crosser, multi-instrumentalist and composer Albrecht Maurer meets the young up-and-coming artist Andolin Körner.

In the second part, the two musicians create a sound journey with remixed sounds and their own improvisations in dialog with an ad hoc performance by dancer and choreographer Ronald Blum.

"At the end of 2022, 'The Practice of Modern Dance in Germany' was added to the 'List of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity' by UNESCO.

Ronald Blum encountered this tradition as a young man, made it his profession and intensively developed it further. Many of his innovations can be seen in the work he has been doing for decades, particularly at the SCALA11 dance studio in Essen-Werden. Ronald Blum is a member and active participant in the Modern Dance Network, which pursues the UNESCO goal of making modern dance better known to the public as an intangible heritage of humanity."
