The title of the film comes from the Hopi word for "life out of balance" and sets the tone for the content - the distance of mankind from nature. Powerful images of natural landscapes meet scenes of modern civilization and technology. No dialog, no characters - just a montage of image sequences, sometimes altered by time-lapse or slow motion. A unique rush of images.
Musician Julia Vera Rodatz updates the film music she has put together especially for the evening. Around pieces by Philip Glass, who composed the original soundtrack, she also plays almost hypnotic music by Hania Rani and Nils Frahm live on piano and synthesizers.
