Krautstrauß - Eine musikalische Wildkraut-Lesung

In the organizer's words:

The joy of storytelling meets wild herb love and record nostalgia: together, podcaster Mo Röttgen from "Kraut im Ohr. Dein Wildkräuterpodcast" and wild herb expert Wolfgang Kienast from "stadtwildkraut" will host an evening of reading about the wild and edible plant world accompanied by music.

The two share a passion for stinging nettle, plantain, goutweed and the like; they rediscover the vegetation in the city between manhole covers and cracks in walls. Mo writes expressive herb essays about them and Wolfgang has been writing the popular wild herb columns for "bodo", the street magazine for Bochum, Dortmund and the surrounding area, for almost 15 years. Their odes to wild plants combine relevant facts with catchy cultural stories.

Wolfgang also plays the appropriate records, musical gems that sing the praises of urban flora. Sometimes it sounds soft, sometimes weird, sometimes pop and sometimes classical. After all, he is not least a DJ.
