"KREISEL" - Anna Funk Ensemble

In the organizer's words:

Five people meet in a pub and give insights into their life concepts and values. Worlds collide: young and old, male and female, urban and rural. Frictions can also be reflections, proximity and distance become relative. Is there a possibility of real togetherness? The five individuals with their personal canons and widely differing values and ideals also have overlaps or even similarities, each of them mirroring the others in some way. Is it possible to achieve a completely fulfilled life alone, or does it not always require a real you? After all, doesn't all suffering and joy come from love? At the center of the spinning top is Antonia, a young woman who reaches her limits in her battle with herself for an authentic life. Will she win?

In the drama "Kreisel" by Anna Funk (text and director), everything revolves around the questions of whether we are able to bridge our differences in today's heated society, whether we have an open ear for the arguments and perspectives of our counterparts. But it is also about the fact that there is an opportunity in friction. How much empathy and understanding, kindness and forbearance are necessary for successful cooperation?
