Welcome to the wedding!

The wedding of Cora, the daughter of the late Lord Ashtonburry, is being celebrated at the Ashtonburry family's ancestral home. Lady Ashtonburry, Cora's stepmother, welcomes the invited guests in the dining room of Darkwood Castle, a time-honored manor house in Scotland.
Cora Tilling is celebrating her long-awaited wedding to Peter Ross. Some family members are not at all happy about it. They do everything they can to put all sorts of obstacles in the way of the young couple's happiness. The wedding presents are peppered with nasty suspicions.

What happens during the course of the delicious 4-course wedding menu gives rise to many speculations.
How did the groom, who usually gambles away all his money, become so surprisingly wealthy? What secret is the penniless bride hiding? Why is the usually so reliable priest so long in coming?
