A talking piece of wood from which the poor, old, lonely carpenter Gepetto carves a wooden puppet, which he calls Pinocchio and which can not only speak but also move and has nothing better to do than run away.
The Junge Kulturbrigaden dedicate themselves to the story about growing up and developing, which is about naivety, friendship, lies, helpfulness, wrong decisions and false friends, in their usual colorful, pop style.
They whisk the audience away to a vintage fairground world of circus and magic, in which crickets, tomcats and foxes also give adults a thought to take home with them.
