The guided tour series "Art and Compass" creates an opportunity to use art to realign our values, goals and priorities. Together with Gustav Peter Wöhler, Matthias Bähr and Sophie-Charlotte Opitz, we embark on an interactive tour of the Flowers Forever exhibition.

The Flowers Forever exhibition shows the flower as a cultural symbol that has played a central role in mythology, religion, art, society and politics for centuries. Flowers accompany us in moments of joy and farewell, they are equally associated with life and death. Inspired by this, we want to reflect with you on our daily lives and actions in order to gain a better understanding of ourselves and our surroundings. In a society in which questions are becoming increasingly complex and conventional answers, rituals and institutions are losing their significance, new perspectives are needed. Especially in moments when we ask ourselves questions that seem difficult to grasp and yet move us: Where do we come from? Where are we going? What is life all about? How can we shape our relationship with our own path through life? Is the shared view a valuable one?
