With the "Places of (In)Visibility", it was possible to tell the stories
of people who came to the Hanseatic city from the GDR,
for a broad public, but above all for young people in Hamburg.

At the heart of the exhibition will be a participatory element that invites visitors to position themselves on central questions of democracy and freedom, especially against the backdrop of stories of SED dictatorship and GDR injustice. This will give visitors the opportunity to make their own voice visible and thus become an active part of the traveling exhibition.
