It is often the most difficult challenges that help musicians grow artistically. For Lacrimas Profundere, one of the most innovative and successful German dark metal bands of the present day, the current studio album 'How To Shroud Yourself With Night' was primarily about the supposed burden of their 2019 hit record 'Bleeding The Stars'. The record had indirectly raised huge expectations: "Album of the Month" in 'Metal Hammer', 'Orkus' and 'Dead Rhetoric', top 10 placements in the other important magazines and a successful entry into the charts.

The answer was not a copy, but fresh new songs that sounded angry, surprising and more passionate than ever before, impressively showing the beauty that can reside in grueling melancholy.

The courage was rewarded and the guys, led by exceptional singer Julian Larre, are currently going from success to success. Sold-out headlining shows, full houses wherever they play and tours in 34 countries so far. So it's no wonder that the band can now boast 60,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and 120,000 followers on Facebook.
