Contemporary music from Germany and the Czech Republic

Since 2004 , the concert series "Neue Musik hoch2" has been dedicated to premieres of works by contemporary German and Czech composers, performed by German and/or Czech interpreters. The aim of the project is to promote cross-border artistic dialog between musicians from both countries. "Neue Musik hoch2" was initiated by Prague accordionist and professor of accordion Ladislav Horák and Munich composer Michael Emanuel Bauer and will take place for the eleventh time in 2024.

The program includes world premieres and works by Michael Emanuel Bauer, Minas Borboudakis, Eduard Douša, Lukáš Hurník, Philipp Ortmeier and Pavel Trojan.
