The Lavender Sessions are a new jam session that offers a safe space for FLINTA* to improvise together musically.
Together with the network women* in music hannover and the Kulturpalast Linden, the FLINTA* collective of the HMTMH organizes this series of events, which takes place every third Tuesday of the month.
All genres are permitted, but the stage is reserved exclusively for people who identify as FLINTA*.
The acronym FLINTA* stands for women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people and thus refers to people who experience discrimination due to their gender identity. This is also visible and tangible in the music scene, which is why the Lavender Sessions are intended to create a safe space.
