About the play:

Le Parc is about the phases of a gallant seduction and offers a fascinating look at the fleeting moments of love. In the course of the action, a game develops between temptation and devotion, between budding and disappointed love affairs, between fleeting and yet long-lasting encounters.

Various orchestral works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the noise and soundscapes created especially for Le Parc by Goran Vejvoda set the tone for the amorous entanglements. Thierry Leproust's stage design is based on classical parks in France and creates an ambiguous space for the mystery of love. In it, costume designer Hervé Pierre sets in motion a fascinating interplay of fabrics. He dresses the ensemble in rococo fashion and makes use of the exciting contrast between the courtly dress code and bourgeois rule-breaking.
