When the French airplane pilot and poet Antoine de St Exupéry wrote a philosophical fairy tale about his little brother, who died far too young, in 1942, he had no idea that he was about to create a classic, the most successful, most translated and best-selling book in the world.

The actress and singer Véronique Elling tells this fascinating story for young and old in her own light and fresh version and sings some atmospheric chansons from her highly acclaimed album OPUS1.

Elling & Band has stood for authentic French chanson at the highest level for 12 years. Within one season, the quartet presents its own concert series in the TONALi SAAL consisting of at least 8 different programs, theme evenings and artist portraits. Letters, anecdotes and diaries of famous chanson composers and performers complement the musical enjoyment and put the songs back into the context of their creation. Cross-references become tangible. The musical experience gains depth and intensity.
