Born in Dijon, Bastien Lallemant has achieved a feat that entire generations of songwriters in France have failed to accomplish. He has managed to combine the heart of George Brassens with the elegance of Serge Gainsbourg. Since his second album "Les érotiques" at the latest, the guitarist and singer has been one of the most important representatives of the Parisian neo-chanson scene. His particular strengths are his warm voice, his romantic tone and his unique poetic melodiousness. Together with the language, this creates a sound that is immediately accessible to everyone, even without any previous knowledge of French. These are chansons with impact: tender, caressing, penetrating and infectious. His new album "La paresse" celebrates idleness, love and passion in a particularly indulgent way.
