After the Second World War, Werner Heyde, one of the main protagonists of the euthanasia crimes during the Nazi dictatorship, went into hiding as a doctor in Flensburg under the pseudonym Fritz Sawade. At the same time, Werner Catel, who was responsible for the murder of allegedly unviable children, was head of the Kiel Children's Hospital from 1954 to 1960. Hans-Gerhard Creutzfeldt, professor of psychiatry in Kiel since 1938 and the first post-war rector of the university after the Second World War, plays a role that is controversial, to say the least, in research. The documentary theater play follows in the footsteps of this dark chapter in Schleswig-Holstein's history.
