The novel "Success" is closely linked to Munich, its people, its morals, its curiosities and its art scene. Lion Feuchtwanger, whose 140th birthday is being celebrated this year, bequeathed this literary morality tale to his home city in 1930. And in many ways, it seems, his insights are more relevant than ever.
In the library in Hall E, we will read the novel to each other and follow the intrigues and scandals of the fictitious Munich city society with great interest. All literature enthusiasts are cordially invited to take part in this public reading. Of course, it is also possible to just listen!
In cooperation with the Münchner Volkshochschule, the AVL department of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, the International Feuchtwanger Society and Public History in the Cultural Department of the City of Munich
