There stands the house. Upstairs, the window opens. And there is a cake. And it smells. Delicious! And then they come, one after the other, lured by the smell of the cake, the bear, the pig, the dog, the rabbit and the frog, and want to get to the cake, which smells so delicious. But it's so far up there. How are they supposed to get up there? There's no ladder for miles around, but...... But that won't tell you if they make it to the cake. And whether there's cake for everyone. An animal cake play about up and down based on the picture book by Susanne Straßer

Puppet theater for children aged 3 and up

The Lesestart activity program of the Munich City Library awakens the joy of stories, rhymes, illustrations, speaking and discovering - in all the variety that is important and necessary for children's development. At Lesestart, three-year-olds experience picture books with all their senses, in many languages and with Orff instruments. There is singing, dancing, laughing and playing, both analog and digital.

Lesestart takes place every year in January/February in 22 city libraries.
