Lesung 'Das Jasmin-Inferno' mit Imad Al Suliman und der Seebrücke Köln

Solidarity, empathy and long-term solutions instead of defence and isolation - anyone who feels the need to think about migration in a different way than the current political discourse is cordially invited to the reading organized by Seebrücke Köln.

The reading "Das Jasmin-Inferno" will take place on 22.11.2024 at 7 pm at the Motoki collective at Stammstraße 32 in Ehrenfeld. In his story, author Imad Al Suliman describes the profound challenges and human suffering associated with fleeing from crisis areas such as Syria. The book thus offers insights that need to be considered when discussing deportations to Syria, as is currently the case.

There will be a second reading on 21.11. with Olaf Bernau on West Africa, the causes of flight and Europe's responsibility.
