War veteran François is enjoying his retirement with his wife Annie. When he finds out that she cheated on him 40 years ago, he demands revenge. Using his connections to the secret service, he tracks down the Casanova of old on the Riviera. Confident of victory, he travels to sunny Nice with Annie. His attractive rival is by no means unarmed: As a bon vivant and musical free spirit, he knows how to defend himself casually. François becomes obsessed with his plans for revenge. But perhaps it's about more than just wounded male honor?
