Successful advertising manager Linda struggles with the challenges of getting older in an industry dominated by youth and beauty. At the same time, she tries to be a good mother to her two daughters. Daughter Alice struggles with Linda's expectations, while her sister Bridget wants nothing more than her mother's support. But apart from her own problems, Linda is unable to do justice to the young women: At work she is replaced by a career-hungry colleague, and at home she is suddenly faced with her husband's affair. Robbed of all security, Linda has to ask herself what is really important to her personally, while Alice and Bridget each seek and find their own way.
