The Linden Museum in Stuttgart provides detailed information on cultures from all continents of the world. In the sections on America, the South Seas/Oceania, Africa, the Orient and South and East Asia, the Linden Museum displays ethnological treasures from times gone by and places them in a contemporary historical context. Special exhibitions and special events complement the permanent exhibitions.
Opening hours
Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sundays and public holidays, 10 am - 6 pm
Special exhibition Stuttgart - Afghanistan additionally Wednesday until 8 pm
Please note: Due to construction work, the East Asia department is closed until spring 2024.
