Noah Derksen, Canadian Folk Music's 2021 Emerging Artist of the Year and a finalist on SiriusXM's Top of the Country, is quickly becoming known as the songwriter's songwriter. Hailing from the heart of the Canadian prairies, Noah has spent years honing his craft across North America and Europe. With his rich and soulful voice, Noah weaves poetry that sounds instantly familiar upon first listen. He currently lives in the West Broadway neighborhood of Winnipeg, Manitoba. His third album Sanctity of Silence (March 2023) earned him another nomination for "Canadian Folk Songwriter of the Year".

Together with Juno award winner Murray Pulver, the songs were developed with Noah's band (Noah Derksen & the Overdrafts) and recorded at Signpost Studios in Winnipeg's West End. For the finishing touches, the album was passed on to multiple Grammy award winner Ryan Freeland (Bonnie Raitt, Ray Lamontagne).
