Live performances: Cristiana Cott Negoescu and Elisabeth Heil

We are pleased to announce the next event as part of the exhibition "zeit-bilder. Manifestations of time-based art". On the performance day there will be live performances by Cristiana Cott Negoescu and Elisabeth Heil as well as a curator's tour through the exhibition. The Kunsthaus is open from 11:00 - 17:00. From 13:00 we invite you to our coffee and wine bar in the studio.

Program:

13:30 - 16:30: Live performance by Elisabeth Heil At Your Service. The artist will adapt her "service performance" for the exhibition Zeit-Bilder. The performance alternates between tableau vivant ("living image") and performance action (taking photos, running, posing...). The performers move around the house, dressed in unusual clothes with a tablet at chest height.

14:00 - 15:00: Live performance Sugar Coating (2024) by Cristiana Cott Negoescu with the performers Lea Frensch, Markus Henschler and Emma Rüther. In Sugar Coating, Cristiana Cott Negoescu deals with uncritical (media) consumption as "sugar for the people". The installation, in which the three performers act, combines elements such as a slide, a cotton candy machine and AI-generated baking shows: "We have something for everyone", promises a neon sign.

15:15: Guided tour of the exhibition Zeit-Bilder with curator Elke Kania. The focus will be on the performative moments in particular.
